Areas of activity of RETEK

RETEK accepts, depollutes and dismantles end-of-life vehicles. As a certified specialist waste management company, RETEK is certified for the activities, locations and waste types listed in its current certificate. We assess which other waste types we can accept or arrange to manage for a particular order on a case-by-case basis.

End-of-life vehicles are processed on our conveyor system with vacuum draining and then dismantled. Accident-damaged vehicles and project-related vehicle batches can also be dismantled at individual workstations. We assess suitable components for sale as used spare parts. Removed materials and waste are separated by waste type and directed to the appropriate further treatment processes.

We record inspected used parts electronically and store them for sale. Individual parts are shipped; larger parts batches can be made available by agreement. We also check additional parts offers through our connected parts marketplaces and partners.

Spare parts, particularly safety-critical components, should be fitted by a suitably qualified automotive repair business.

For suitable waste from automotive workshops, such as tyres, plastics, glass and metals, we arrange collection after assessing the waste type. Containers and logistics depend on the individual order.

For waste that RETEK cannot treat itself within the scope of its certification, we work with appropriately qualified specialist waste management companies. Depending on the waste type and order, this may include waste oil, oil filters, brake and coolant fluids or separator contents.
