The pilot project that was initially planned ten years ago to create jobs has developed into a company with a team of highly motivated and just as highly qualified employees that is known beyond the borders of East Frisia.
The team comprising an engineer, three master vehicle-mechanics and several employees who have trained successfully in various areas of the vehicle industry provide the necessary expertise. For the first time in Germany, we are able to offer training for recycling specialists.
In the area of materials supply, RETEK specialists train young people as skilled workers for inventory management. This work is supported by state-of-the-art storage technology in both the hardware and software area.
The commercial side is dealt with by employees who, prior to their appointment at RETEK, trained successfully and gained initial work experience in large-scale industry or in the local automotive sector. A committee of five, including lawyers, administrative specialists, business management graduates and independent master tradesmen is on hand to provide any advice that may be required.
Not only have more than 30 new jobs been created but, after successfully completing training with us, some former employees have now also found a permanent position in other companies in the region.
Finally, as a result of our contact with regional companies, some employees who completed a work placement or thesis at RETEK have now taken up their first position in industry.
